When you are given the chance of having four days in the City that Never Sleeps, the pull to see everything and do everything that there is to do is hard to resist!
“Laundry, showers, and a good night’s sleep!” is how I replied when my Great Aunt asked what fun things we wanted to do during our visit with her. I’m not sure that was the reply she was expecting!
We left Ft. Laramine for a 173 mile stretch to get to I-80E. A third of a tank should get us there, right?! Turns out it’s true, but just barely! Despite the nail-biter of a start, it was a great traverse across Nebraska.
Being able to see family in Omaha really made this stretch special.
What do you get when you have hundreds of cowboys and cowgirls, thousands of spectators in Canada: you get the Calgary Stampede, the worlds largest outdoor rodeo!
