We left Ft. Laramine for a 173 mile stretch to get to I-80E. A third of a tank should get us there, right?! Turns out it’s true, but just barely! Despite the nail-biter of a start, it was a great traverse across Nebraska.
Being able to see family in Omaha really made this stretch special.

48 Hours in Medora, North Dakota

Driving from Montana into North Dakota was the beginning of the next chapter of our road trip. It marked the start of our second month on the road; it was also completely new territory for us. Thanks to my good friend, Google, we had planned our adventures around Medora, ND and more specifically the Maah Daah Hey Trail. In our time there we packed in a lot and I’m not convinced we could have done it any better!
